This Rug has been made with wool coming from sheep in the valleys of Morocco. Women from the area process and dye the wool mainly using natural dyes making it ready for weaving.

This rug has been handmade by women from the Atlas mountains who have learnt techniques from their ancestors. They do their magic on the loom -literally- incorporating ancient symbols to deflect the evil eye and bring good luck to them -the maker- and the future owner of the rug.
