This Rug has been made from wool coming from sheep in their local regions. Women from the area process and dye the wool making it ready for weaving.
This rug has been handmade by women from the Sahara region in Morocco who have learnt techniques from their ancestors. They do their magic on the loom -literally- incorporating ancient symbols to deflect the evil eye and bring good luck to them -the maker- and the future owner of the rug.
